Munekawa original leather care set
This is a leather care set that comes with a dedicated sliding box.
We created this set with the hope that "care time will be more enjoyable." It also makes a great gift.
After opening, remove the brown cushioning and store the product with the lid facing up. This is Munekawa's original care cream made from natural beeswax, sunflower wax, and oil with excellent moisturizing properties.
It is similar to a delicate cream, so it can be used on a wide variety of leather products. It is also easy to spread and does not easily become unevenly applied, so it is easy to use even for beginners.
After spreading the cream onto the soft cotton cloth and letting it soak into the leather, gently wipe off any excess cream with the cloth. This will bring out the leather's shine and reduce the risk of stains due to uneven application.
*Please test in an inconspicuous area before use.

Personalized engraving
The time required for engraving varies depending on the item. Please check the engraving section on each item page. [Engraving of finished product] Up to 2 weeks / [Engraving during production] Up to 2 months.
You can add your name, surname, birthdate, initials, or any other text you like.
Since it is difficult to balance the name if it is all in uppercase, we recommend that you capitalize the first letter and use lowercase letters after that.
The maximum number of characters is 12 (or 9 if all characters are uppercase). Spaces and dots are included in the character count.

There is only one font.
[Engraving of finished product] Items may be delivered earlier depending on the situation, so if you are in a hurry, please contact us by phone.
[Engraving during production] Due to the structure of the item, it is only possible to engrave the name during production. Since we make the item from scratch, it will take about two months.
[Engraving of finished products] A product where the name is engraved on the finished product. If the product is in stock, it can be engraved in 1-2 weeks.
When you first start using cordovan, if you polish it with cream, the surface of the leather may become cloudy and lose its luster. The texture will change over time due to the oils from your hands and other parts of the body, so for a while we recommend just wiping it dry with a soft cloth. When the surface begins to feel dry, spread a thin layer of cream over the entire surface, apply it evenly, and wipe off. Immediately after applying the cream and wiping it off, the shine may fade and the surface may appear whitish, but the cream will blend in over time. Munekawa original care cream contains a lot of water, so if you are using it on cordovan, which is sensitive to water, please wipe it off immediately after application. If too much cream is used or if it is left on for a while, it can cause blisters. Once blisters form, there is no going back. If you are unsure, please use a commercially available care cream made specifically for cordovan.
When it comes to bridle leather, initial care simply involves wiping it dry with a soft cloth. As you use it, the oils from your hands and other parts of the body will adhere to the leather and the texture will change. When dry wiping, the bloom (a white powder-like substance formed when wax applied to the leather hardens on the surface) will disappear depending on how often and how hard you wipe, so if you want to enjoy the bloom for a long time, adjust the frequency and strength of your wiping. (The appearance of bloom also changes depending on the temperature.) Once bloom has been removed it cannot be restored. When the bloom fades and the surface starts to feel dry, spread a thin layer of cream over the entire area, applying it evenly and wiping it off. The recommended maintenance interval is once every 2 to 3 months, but please try it while keeping an eye on the condition of the leather. Please be careful not to use the cream too frequently or apply too much, as this can cause the leather to become too soft.
Munekawa original care cream cannot be used. There are special creams available on the market, so please use those.
